Due to limitations in applying BIM for transportation and infrastructure projects in Vietnam, our partners often face difficulties in building a BIM workforce. Our two solution packages have been well received by our partners. Solution 1- BIM outsourcing services is suitable for organizations that need to quickly implement BIM for a specific project, while Solution 2-BIM training courses is highly effective for partners to gradually build their BIM team and implement BIM processes within their organization. There is also a positive response from provinces regarding research on BIM application.
Recently, on November 17, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision 258/QD-TTg on March 17, 2023, regarding the Roadmap for Applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) in construction activities. According to this decision, BIM is mandatory for special-grade and Grade I projects starting from 2023, Grade II projects from 2025, and encourages enterprises to adopt BIM in construction activities earlier than the specified timeline. This serves as a driving force for design firms, construction companies, and investors to adopt BIM. Currently, the job market for BIM in Vietnam has significantly improved.
