Despite the harshness of the sun on the construction site, construction workers at My Thuan 2 bridge are still working hard to keep up with the assigned schedule.
The My Thuan 2 bridge project across the Tien River with a length of 6.61km, with an investment capital of VND 5,000 billion, started construction in February 2020. The project has the connection point of Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway project, the end point connecting My Thuan - Can Tho expressway, crossing the Tien River. In particular, the main bridge is more than 1.9km long, fully invested with 6 lanes, design speed of 80km / h. According to the plan, the project will be inaugurated on December 24
TUp to now, the My Thuan 2 bridge project has reached about 97% of the volume. The remaining items, such as riverbank reinforcement embankments, installation of railings, steel dividers, and signage systems, are expected to be completed by December 25. When completed, the project contributes to "sharing the fire" for the existing bridge, helping to connect traffic in the Western region. Of the 5 packages, 4 have been completed, the contractors are laying asphalt concrete on the bridge deck, which is expected to be completed by December 17
